Peter and his musical friend, Terry can put on a special seniors Western music event with his duo called "The Good Old Country Boys". Currently in their library, they have over 50 favorite hits by famous country artists such as Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Rogers, George Strait, and Meryl Haggard, to name a few. This event wouldn't be complete without a banjo and western duds; so, the boys will be dressed accordingly to stimulate the audience to participate.

.Oktoberfest Theme

"Oktoberfest Celebration" is another popular theme to explore and Peter will make it a fun event by dressing in full German cultural dress and singing familiar tunes of the past in both German or English.  Peter originally played Oktoberfest music while growing up in Vancouver and first learned to play German Music on the accordion. An Oktoberfest event lends itself well to good traditional food to add to the excitement of "The Chicken Dance" and favorite beer drinking songs made famous in the Oktoberfest Capital of Munich. Singing favorite songs like Roll Out the Barrel, Edelweiss, and The Happy Wanderer brings everyone up in spirit to embrace the moment and puts smiles on everybody's faces.

Christmas Theme

Another beautiful time of the year is Christmas.  In addition to the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings and special sweets, the season wouldn't be complete without.....

a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus

...

Meet Kris and Jessica Kringle (Peter and his wife, Lana).

The name Kris Kringle is synonymous with Santa Claus and originated from the Austrian and German tradition.  Kris Kingle stands for Christchild or Christkind or Christkindel.  The name dates back to early Christian history.  In the famous TV show of 1970, "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town", Santa meets Jessica and asks her to become his wife.  Thus the Kringles were united.  In much of the Western World, they are known as Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Kringles love to mingle and love to raise spirits by personally wishing each and every person a warm and happy Christmas. Often while well wishing, they like to hand out Christmas oranges and candy canes. Sometimes they are asked to hand out gifts to the children at Company Christmas Parties or private Christmas events.

Hawaiian Theme

A trip to Hawaii is always fun and refreshing. It washes our spirits and fills our hearts with echos of music from artists like Don Ho, Elvis, Jimmy Buffett and Beach Boys surfing songs, and inspires our imagination with memories of romance and longing for that tradtitional luau by the beach. Peter and duo band called "The Hawaiian Boys", dressed in traditional Hawaiian attire (Hawaiian shirt, loose comfortable pants and panama hat) will serenade you with famous songs like Blue Hawaii, Pearly Shells, Hula Love, and Tiny Bubbles. This theme lends itself well to casual summer days on the patio enjoying barbecues, summer evening dance parties or warm outdoor picnics in the garden.

.

As a special touch, Peter plays the Hawaiian tunes on his ukulele to bring the traditional flavor of Hawaiian music to life.

Halloween Theme

Halloween is that special time of the year when we celebrate witches, goblins and ghosts. It is also known as All Saints' Day (ALL Hallows) but possibly has roots dating back to The Celtic and Gaelic Calendar. In any case, for our seniors and their family members it means a fun day to experience music & songs of a ghoulish nature like The OOGIE BOOGIE Man, The Monster Mash, and The Munster's and Addam's Family Themes and The One-Eyed-One-Horned Flying People Eater Song just to name a few. Decorations are traditional witches on broomsticks and various ghostly figures. Peter combines a number of the fun Halloween tunes with the seniors favorite music from the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's to make the event unique and exciting.

Robbie Burns Theme

Robbie Burns was born on January 25th 1759 in Scotland. Hailed as one of the most influential poets in his time, it is no wonder that celebrations of his life and accomplishments have become a tradition and a yearly event all around the world. Rumor has it that the first recorded dinner held in Robbie Burns honor took place in 1801 in Alloway, Scotland. The year 2014, Jan 25th, marks his 255th birthday and this rich heritage phenomenon of "Burns Dinners" continues be more popular than ever.
Peter has embraced the spirit of Robbie Burns by learning some of the most traditional Scottish tunes, including songs and poems written by the poet, himself. Moreover, he has weaved together a very entertaining program with popular tunes from the 40's,50's,60's and 70's to deliver a very fun afternoon or evening.
